YOUTH LEADER WORKSHOP ON ADVOCACY & PARTNERSHIP BUILDING
Youth Leader Workshop on Advocacy & Partnership Building was held on May 23, 2023 and gathered 30 youth leaders from WB6 countries.
Youth Leader Workshop presents the first of the two-part capacity building program which besides the workshop includes an onsite 4 days’ workshop which will be held in Podgorica.
The goal of the online workshop was for the youth leaders to meet each other, and have an introduction to their roles and responsibilities during the project implementation.
Additionally, the participant got acquainted with the concept of service learning as well as activities implemented by the CEE SL Network.
This activity is part of the project Giving and receiving- Young active citizens for peace and prosperity, which seeks to boost the local and regional partnerships between CSO and local governments (administrations) for good governance with youth participating in decision making processes and strengthening participatory democracies in the Western Balkans.
This will be accomplished by using Service-learning approach and the role of youth leaders will be to support young people in forming, shaping and delivering Service-Learning initiatives in the local community, making sure the initiatives are implemented in cooperation with local authorities within the topics of digital literacy, civil society participation, fight against fake news.

The project is supported by the Regional grant of the “SMART Balkans – Civil Society for Shared Society in the Western Balkans” regional project implemented by Centar za promociju civilnog društva (CPCD), Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM) and Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) and financially supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NMFA).
