YOUTH LEADER WORKSHOP ON ADVOCACY & PARTNERSHIP BUILDING
Youth Leader Workshop on Advocacy & Partnership Building was organized in Podgorica, Montenegro from October 31- November 3, 2023 and gathered 30 participants from WB6.
The 4- day workshop was focused on building capacity of leaders in advocacy engagement with public authorities in order to effectively engage within the following topics: digital literacy, civil society participation and fight against fake news, both locally and regionally.
This will be accomplished by using service learning approach, and the role of youth leaders is to support young people in forming, shaping and delivering service learning initiatives in the local community, making sure the initiatives are implemented in cooperation with local authorities within the topics of digital literacy, civil society participation and fight against fake news.
Having in mind the importance of establishing partnerships, especially when it comes to local context, during the second day of the training the guests were: Mr. Danilo Vučinić on behalf of the Capital City of Podgorica and Mrs. Ivana Nedović on behalf of the Union of Municipalities of Montenegro.
