The report in front of you aims to identify the gap between labor market supply and demand through various data collection methods and techniques, while taking into account young people’s affinities, real development opportunities in the observed geographical area, and noted labor market trends. It also aims to map the NEET youth population in the Sandžak region covered by the project at a specific point in time, and highlight key barriers young people face in transitioning from education to the labor market.

The research was conducted as part of the project “Regional Academy for Increasing Employability of NEET Youth”, implemented by Forum MNE in partnership with the Center for Youth Work (CZOR), the Civic Youth Initiative Rožaje, and the Youth Office Novi Pazar.

The project is supported by the European Union through the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Serbia – Montenegro 2014–2020, under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II) allocations for the years 2018, 2019, and 2020.
