Forum MNE in partnership with Bureau for operational coordination – National operational team for combatting violent extremism and Ministry of Sports and Youth has organized event “Youth must be a reliable partner”, which gathered youth from different municipalities and decision makers.

The introductory speeches were followed by a panel on strengthening the role of young people in preventing and combating violent extremism, activities that have been carried out so far and plans for the upcoming period in this area.

During the event, participants created recommendations on the role of youth in PCVE, which will be published in the form of a short brochure, the Youth Manifest. The brochure will represent the base for the participants who will, together with their mentors, prepare and conduct workshops with their peers during the Week of Youth Activism in PCVE in Rožaje, Plav, Nikšić and Podgorica.

The event is part of the project “Youth must be a reliable partner- The role of young people in preventing and combating violent extremism”, implemented with the support of the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe.
