After nearly two decades, Peter McKee, Lars Hartvigson, and Sanja Španja (program professor) are conducting a study on the long-term impact of the “Leadership and Youth Work in the Community” program on your careers and continued engagement in your communities. The goal is to better understand the lasting effects of this program and to document your experiences.

A message from the researchers:

Dear friends and former students,

It has been many years since you completed the PRONI education program. For many reasons—and perhaps because we were more focused on activism than reflection—we’ve somewhat neglected to document students’ experiences during their training, even though we were very pleased with its short-term outcomes.

Now, as long-time friends and those involved in the design and implementation of the PRONI education, we’ve decided to write a scientific article to describe the outcomes of this program from a long-term perspective. In order to do this properly, we kindly ask you to fill out a short questionnaire at the following link:

If there’s interest from your side, we would love to organize a physical reunion at a convenient location in the region to present our findings—and, of course, to see each other again in person. Perhaps in late summer 2025?

In a world that seems increasingly focused on division and conflict, the PRONI education may be more needed than ever.
